Last updated: 26 February 2026

These terms apply to purchases and use of Susan Room Limited’s learning platform at learning.susanroom.com (the “Platform”), including online courses, memberships, masterclasses, group programmes and any related digital materials or online sessions (together, “SRL Learning Services”).

1. Who we are and about these terms

1.1 SRL Learning Services are operated by Susan Room Limited, a private limited company registered in England and Wales (company number 13245976) with registered address Busby’s Chartered Accountants, Unit 7, Pickhill Business Centre, Smallhythe Road, Tenterden TN30 7LZ (“SRL”, “us”, “we”). Our VAT number is GB 375 2554 80. If you have questions, email contact@susanroom.com.

1.2 Important clarity: SRL Learning Services on the Platform are not ticketed public events, and we do not offer 1-2-1 coaching services via the Platform.

1.3 These terms form an agreement between you (the purchaser/user) and us. They are available in English only and we do not file a copy of this agreement for you.

1.4 By creating an account, purchasing, accessing, or using SRL Learning Services, you agree to these terms. Please save a copy for your records.

2. The Platform and SRL Learning Services

2.1 SRL Learning Services are practical, expert-led business voice coaching resources delivered online through the Platform and, where relevant, via third-party tools (for example live-session video platforms).

2.2 Unless we agree otherwise in writing, SRL Learning Services are intended for participants aged 18 or over.

2.3 Account access. You may need to create an account to purchase/access SRL Learning Services. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity on your account.

2.4 Purchases and contract formation. When you submit an order/booking request you are making an offer to purchase SRL Learning Services. Acceptance occurs when we send written confirmation (for example an order confirmation email and/or invoice). We may refuse or cancel an order in reasonable circumstances (for example suspected fraud or a technical pricing error).

2.5 Access period. Access length (e.g., fixed-term access, lifetime access, or membership access) will be stated on the relevant sales or checkout page, or otherwise agreed in writing.

2.6 Using the services. To get the most from SRL Learning Services, you should ensure you (and any participants, where relevant) access the Platform promptly and are appropriately prepared, including having suitable devices, software, and internet connection.

2.7 Conduct. We may suspend or terminate your access (and/or require any person to leave or be removed from an online session) if conduct is unacceptable (in SRL’s reasonable opinion), including harassment, disruption, or misuse of the Platform. No refund will be due in these circumstances.

2.8 Changes. We may make reasonable changes to SRL Learning Services and the Platform (including content, format, timing, and delivery method) for operational reasons or to maintain quality, security, and safety. If a live element is affected (e.g. a scheduled online session), we will use reasonable efforts to reschedule.

2.9 Third-party platform. The Platform is hosted via Podia. We are not responsible for third-party platforms/services that support access or delivery, and your use of those services may be subject to their own terms.

3. Licence, content use and restrictions

3.1 Your licence. When you purchase SRL Learning Services, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the materials for your own internal business use (or your organisation’s internal use where agreed) during the stated access period.

3.2 No sharing / resale. You must not share, sell, sublicense, or otherwise make available any SRL Learning Services or access credentials to anyone else, except to participants we have agreed in writing may attend/access.

3.3 No copying or redistribution. You must not copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, distribute, or exploit any SRL materials (including videos, worksheets, slides, audio, transcripts, or templates), except where we expressly permit this in writing.

3.4 Recording and screenshots. You are not permitted to make (or facilitate the making of) video or audio recordings of sessions, or use photographs/clips/screenshots of SRL Learning Services for commercial purposes, unless we expressly permit it in writing.

3.5 Intellectual property. All intellectual property rights in SRL Learning Services and materials remain ours (or our licensors’). No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these terms.

4. Fees and payment

4.1 Fees and payment terms will be shown at checkout/on the relevant Platform page and/or set out in a booking confirmation or invoice. We may require full payment in advance.

4.2 Where VAT is applicable, this will be stated. Prices may change at any time, but changes will not affect purchases already confirmed.

4.3 Payments are made via the Platform’s checkout and/or invoice (as offered). Cash and cheques are not accepted.

4.4 Subscriptions/memberships (if applicable). If you purchase a membership or subscription, it may renew automatically at the stated interval unless you cancel before the next billing date (using your account settings on the Platform and/or by contacting us where that option is provided). Unless required by law, payments already made for a billing period are non-refundable.

5. Cancellation, refunds and access issues

5.1 General position. Once you’ve made a purchase, we may not be able to offer a refund where you cancel, do not participate, or do not make use of SRL Learning Services, except where required by law or where we expressly agree otherwise in writing.

5.2 Live elements. Where SRL Learning Services include a live scheduled element (e.g., a time-specific online session), dates/times are not transferable unless we agree otherwise in writing, and there is no “cooling off” right for that scheduled element.

5.3 Digital content. Where SRL Learning Services include digital content supplied immediately (e.g., instant course access/download), you may be asked at checkout to consent to immediate supply and acknowledge that this affects any statutory cancellation rights that might otherwise apply.

5.4 If we cancel. We may cancel SRL Learning Services before commencement. Except where clause 5.5 applies, we will refund fees you paid for the cancelled part. We do not refund additional costs you may have incurred (for example travel, accommodation, or third-party expenses).

5.5 Events outside our control. There is no entitlement to a refund where we are forced to cancel part or all of SRL Learning Services due to reasons beyond our reasonable control.

5.6 No refunds for subjective dissatisfaction/outcomes. We do not offer refunds because of subjective dissatisfaction or because you did not achieve particular outcomes, unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.

5.7 Discounts. Discounts apply only to the specific offer and must be redeemed at purchase. Discounts are not applied retrospectively and are subject to any additional stated terms (e.g., expiry dates).

6. Feedback and complaints

6.1 We may provide opportunities for feedback (for example evaluation forms).

6.2 Complaints should be submitted in writing to contact@susanroom.com within 5 working days of the relevant SRL Learning Services ending (or, for Platform access issues, within 5 working days of the issue arising). We aim to respond as soon as possible and in any event within 28 days.

7. Our liability to you

7.1 Nothing excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

7.2 Subject to clause 7.1, we are not responsible for:
(i) losses not caused by our breach;
(ii) indirect or consequential losses;
(iii) failure to meet obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control;
(iv) third-party platforms used to access or deliver SRL Learning Services (used at your own risk and subject to their terms); or
(v) any increase in loss arising from your breach of these terms or negligence.

7.3 Subject to clause 7.1, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you have actually paid for the relevant SRL Learning Services giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for wasted expenditure.

7.4 You are responsible for your own devices, software, and secure internet access required to use the Platform.

8. Data protection and privacy

8.1 We process personal data in line with our learning.susanroom.com Privacy Policy. 20260226 Privacy Policy Final D…

8.2 The Platform uses cookies and similar technologies required for the site, checkout, and course access to work. Where optional cookies are used, information and choices will be provided in line with our Privacy Policy. 20260226 Privacy Policy Final D…

8.3 Recording. SRL Learning Services may only be recorded with our written permission. Where you choose to participate in recorded sessions (including enabling audio/video, participating in chat, polls, or similar features), you consent to being included in the recording. If you do not wish to be recorded, please contact us before the relevant session at contact@susanroom.com. 20260226 Privacy Policy Final D…

9. General

9.1 These terms are between you and us. No other person has any right to enforce any term.

9.2 Each paragraph operates separately. If any part is unlawful, the rest remains in force.

9.3 We may revise these terms from time to time (for example to reflect changes in law, regulation, Platform features, or service improvements). The version posted on the Platform applies at the time you purchase, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

9.4 Governing law and jurisdiction. These terms are governed by English law and the English courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a resident of Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are a resident of Scotland you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.
